Under the direction of Dr. Robert A. Norris, (Professor Emeritus), this wonderful scientific resource is preserved and maintained. One goal of the herbarium is to digitalize the collection and make it available online for use by students, scientist and citizens.  The first step in that direction will be an online catalog of the specimen housed in the collection.  . Georgia Southwestern State University would like to thank Dr. Robert Norris for the contribution of his private collection to our herbarium and for his labor and devotion to this project.
