Sirocco, a magazine of literary and visual art, is published in April of each year by students at Georgia Southwestern State University.  A senior unit of the University System of Georgia, GSW is an affirmative action / equal opportunity institution.  The magazine is graciously funded by the Student Government and the GSW Foundation.  Opinions expressed in the magazine are neither those of the editors nor those of the University.

Submissions must not have been previously published. They are welcome at any time, but cannot be read and acted upon except during January and February.  All submissions must be typed and must follow the magazine's format.  Basic biographical information about the submitter must be included.  Authors and artists should have some present or past affiliation with Georgia Southwestern.  No work will be returned unless accompanied by a stamped, self-addressed envelope.
