Marshall Student Center 229-931-2013 FAX 229-931-2768 stuaccts@canes.gsw.edu The responsibilities of the Student Accounts Office include collection of student fees, delivery of student financial aid, maintenance and collection of Perkins and institutional student loans, reconciliation of Federal Family Educational Loan Programs and billing to third party sources.

Fee Payment Deadlines: Fall Fees - August 4th by 5:00 Payment accepted by cash, check, or credit card

Students will no longer receive an invoice in the mail, access RAIN to view charges and payments. Failure to submit payment by the deadline will result in a late payment fee of $50.00. Fees should be paid in full the first day of class to avoid class cancellation.

To view/print an invoice (which will include memoed financial aid) - go to Student Services and Financial Aid, go to Registration, and then go to Registration Fee Assessment.

To submit payment on line - go to Student Services and Financial Aid, then Registration, then Registration Fee Assessment, and click online credit card payment at the bottom of the screen.

Tuition and fee charges for fall term will not be available until after July 1.

It may be possible for you to pay tuition and fees online:

• Login to the RAIN system.
• Select Student Services and Financial Aid.
• Select Registration.
• Select Registration Fee Assessment.
• Click Online Credit Card Payment (at the bottom of the screen).

How to determine if you have a refund/difference check available:

1. Login to the RAIN system.
2. Select the Student Services and Financial Aid menu.
3. Select the Student Records menu.
4. Select the Account Summary By Term menu.
5. Find the Detail Code 'RFND' within the charges and payments for the term in question. If the RFND is greater than the amount you have already picked up, then you may have a check available. Report to Student Accounts windows in the Marshall Student Center to pick up your check. A picture ID is required in order to pick up a check.
