Caregiving
Certificate Program

The Caregiving Specialist Certificate is an interdisciplinary program designed to prepare students for continued study, specialized work, or a career in a caregiving field. The Caregiving Specialist program requires students to take 18 credits worth of specialized courses while working on a bachelor’s degree or after earning a bachelor’s degree. A bachelor’s degree program must be completed before the certificate is awarded. This Certificate is the only one of its kind in the state and represents a unique commitment of Georgia Southwestern State University to prepare leaders in the field of Caregiving.
