Southwestern’s Bachelor of Science in Information Technology is a degree that will instruct students in core competencies in the areas of problem solving and programming, networks and communications systems, databases, Internet and Web technologies, security, and project management, along with a foundation in business concepts. The major in IT requires 33 hours of IT-specific classes in addition to the regular core curriculum. Students majoring in this degree program can look forward to challenging and fulfilling careers in Information Technology upon graduation, as this field is continually growing and changing.
