Students who have completed an RN degree may enroll in Southwestern's on-line RN to BSN program. Completion of the bachelor’s degree will mean higher pay and a greater chance for advancement. Recognizing the barriers that RNs face in terms of employment demands, travel time, and family responsibilities, Southwestern’s RN to BSN program has been designed to allow full-time or part-time study, flexibility in the sequencing of courses, and options to complete the nursing courses online. Students who enroll in courses with clinical components will work with a preceptor who holds the qualifications required by the Georgia Board of Nursing. Students in this program have five (5) years from the start of their nursing courses to complete the degree requirements.
