Students wishing to enter a program of study to work in Medical Technology may meet the entrance requirements to medical and graduate schools through study with the Department of Biology at Southwestern. Such students often follow the BS in Biology program, selecting courses to meet specific entrance requirements under guidance from the appropriate advisor. Students will meet with Southwestern’s Allied Health advisor to become aware of necessary admissions requirements for such programs. Many Southwestern graduates have gone on to work in the medical fields and you will find GSW alumni in medical professions throughout the nation.
