Career Opportunities 2008 was held in Atlanta on November 13th at the Cobb Galleria Centre. The fair is hosted by the Georgia Career Consortium, which consists of 26 smaller colleges in Georgia whose enrollment is less than 10,000. Georgia Southwestern State University is an active member of the Consortium. Every year, the office of Career Services encourages students and alumni to attend the fair. The office also provides assistance with transportation to the fair. This year more than 70 employers were present to provide helpful information about future occupations. Several GSW students attended the fair and gathered useful information about different companies and started their networking process by networking with employers from all over the region.
