The
Chemistry department offers a scholarship for chemistry majors that play an
active role in the GSW Chemistry Club. This
scholarship is to be awarded to an undergraduate student attending Georgia
Southwestern State University for application toward payment of tuition at GSW.
The scholarship is awarded during the FALL semester and will be awarded
only once per student.
This award is available to chemistry majors with a minimum of 48 semester hours and a minimum of 12 semester hours of chemistry at or above the 2000 level. The student must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.7 and a chemistry GPA of 3.0. In addition, the student must show active participation in the Chemistry Club by attendance at a majority of Chemistry Club meetings and/or events.
