Assistant Professor of English. Tenure-track position to begin August 2010, in our Department of English and Modern Languages, a division of the College of Arts and Sciences. Position requires a person with training in rhetoric and composition, but preference will be given to candidates with expertise in teaching upper division composition/technical writing classes, in incorporating technology into their composition classrooms, or involvement in the National Writing Project.  Duties will include a 4/4 teaching load of primarily introductory and upper division composition courses. Ph.D and teaching experience required at time of appointment.
