Assessment Director
Ten-month tenure track position available January, 2010. The Assessment Director reports to the Dean of the School of Education. Responsibilities include successfully overseeing the School of Education Assessment System, analyzing and sharing student, faculty, teacher education program, and unit-level assessments, working closely with the Dean and Assistant Dean for Accreditation to prepare reports for national accreditation agencies, state-level accreditation agencies and the University System of Georgia. The Assessment Director will also collaborate with faculty and staff to routinely analyze data and participate in regular faculty meetings with faculty and staff in the School of Education, and serve on School and University Committees. Teach one or two courses a year. Doctorate in Education and/or in a related field is preferred; Master of Education degree is required. Experience with accreditation and knowledge of the LiveText system preferred. Salary is commensurate with expertise and experience.
