Assistant Professor of Math

Georgia Southwestern State University, a senior unit in the University System of Georgia, seeks applicants for an assistant professorship, tenure-track position in Mathematics starting in August 2010.  The successful applicant will have a PhD in mathematics; show potential for research, ability to teach a wide variety of undergraduate courses, and a willingness to participate in faculty governance.  Mathematics has three undergraduate degrees:  BS in Mathematics, BS in Industrial Mathematics, BS in Mathematics with Teacher Certification, and a limited number of graduate courses.  Submit GSW Faculty Application, cover letter, current vita, and three current letters of reference to Human Resources, Math Search, Georgia Southwestern State University, 800 GSW State University, Americus, GA 31709.
