Assistant Professor of Nursing
Georgia Southwestern State University School of Nursing invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty positions for Fall 2008. Master’s degree in nursing and eligibility for licensure in Georgia required. Acute care or adult health specialty desired. Preference will be given to candidates with an earned doctorate or significant progress toward a doctorate in nursing or related field. Responsibilities include undergraduate teaching in classroom and clinical settings, scholarly productivity, and service on committees. Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications. Search will remain open until position is filled. The baccalaureate program has full approval from the Georgia Board of Nursing and is accredited by NLNAC.
