Keg Shuttle Relay

• Divsions: Male, Female
• Team Members: Individual Event
• Maximum entries per team: 5
• Awards: Medals to top three finishers
• Description: This is a two person relay. The first person will carry an empty beverage keg to a certain point. That person will run back to the second keg and carry it to a designated point. That person will then run back to a waiting teammate and hand the baton to him/her. The second person will run to the first keg and roll it back to it original spot. That person will then return to the second keg and roll it to it’s original spot. That person will then run across the finish line. Two teams will compete at one time. The four teams with the fastest times will be seeded into a championship bracket with the winners advancing to the championship finals and the losers racing for third place.

Rules:

1. Each keg must start in an upright position and be placed in an upright position at each spot.
2. Players must carry baton at all times.
3. Second team member may not cross the starting line before the baton has been exchanged.

Penalties

1. If a keg is not upright on the designated spot- 2 second penalty per keg.
2. Dropping the baton - 1 sec. penalty each occurrence
3. Crossing start line before the exchange of baton - 4 second penalty
