Request for Purchase of
Library Materials
The Liaison/Selector
Program consists of Library personnel that provide formal
communication channels between faculty, students, and staff. The
Liaison/Selector duties and responsibilities consist of:
-
Contacting the
Department Chair/School Dean in order to originate the
ordering of library materials, in various formats, that
specifically support the curriculum;

Assisting in the
selection of materials in their areas of responsibilities; and

Increasing the
patrons' knowledge of information about the library, including
budget and allocation issues, purchasing and cancellation of
journals, weeding of materials, and workshops sponsored by the
library regarding new materials and technological advances.
User requests are welcomed and
forwarded to the Liaison/Selector for consideration.
