    FACULTY STAFF WORKSHOPS

Faculty Staff Workshops are offered for ALL Faculty and Staff, Full and Part-Time. Certificates are awarded upon the completion of at least the last workshop in a series. Please contact Alla Yemelyanov at 229-931-2969 to request a course or class you do not see offered.

Office 2003 classes
Excel 2003
This is a beginner's class in spreadsheet development and usage. Topics covered include basic knowledge of Excel, workbooks and worksheets, formatting worksheets, moving, cutting, pasting, and copying row, columns, and cell contents, creating formulas. Simple charts will be covered.
September 11 2-4pm
Access 2003
This will be an introductory workshop covering the basic use of Access to include: introduction to database concepts and terminology and managing and creating a database.

PowerPoint 2003
This workshop will provide an overview of MS PowerPoint 2003 from basic to advanced functions. Topics covered include creating presentations, covering slide creation, text manipulation, customizing your presentations with animation and other multimedia effects, posting your PowerPoint presentations on the Internet.

Office 2007 classes
Word 2007
This introductory workshop covers the basic features of MS Word 2007. The goal of the workshop is to learn how to create efficiently professional-looking documents using the entire arsenal of new and enhanced features of the Word 2007 application.

Excel 2007
The workshop will provide an overview of MS Excel 2007 spreadsheet application. Topics covered include basic knowledge of Excel: main differences from Excel 2003, creating and formatting worksheets and workbooks, applying various operations over data tables, creating formulas, building charts and graphs, using new themes and enhanced style features to create professional-looking reports.

The workshop will provide an overview of MS PowerPoint 2007 presentation application.
