GSW Technology Committees
The Instructional Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC) focus is exclusively
on the use of technology in the classroom and how new technologies can be
integrated to support GSW mission. A major responsibility of the committee is to
provide guidance regarding use of the student technology fee. Additional areas
of interest include: develop long range plans for academic and instructional
computing for the university, assess the instructional technology needs of the
faculty and students, coordinate formal and informal opportunities for faculty
development in the area of teaching, learning, and technology, and participate
and advise in on-going university initiatives regarding classroom design and
upgrade.
ITAC committee members has representation from academic departments, as well
as the IS Director, ITC Director, and University executive leadership. This
committee meets monthly.
