GSW plans Spring 2004 Commencement May 8

AMERICUS—Georgia Southwestern State University will hold its Spring 2004 Commencement exercises at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 8, on the front lawn of Sanford Hall. An estimated 216 students are expected to graduate. The community is invited to attend.

The speaker will be David Williams, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Habitat for Humanity International.

Melody Godfrey Burke of Cordele will give the reflection. The GSW alumna earned her B.S. in 1991 and her M.S.A. in 1993.

A graduation breakfast is planned for 8 a.m. in the Marshall Student Center Dining Hall. Juice will be served at 7:45 a.m. in the adjoining Private Dining Room.

The President's Reception will be held immediately following Commencement on the front lawn of the Wheatley Administration Building.
