GSW Continuing Education extends tennis lessons for kids

AMERICUS--Due to overwhelming response to weekly tennis camps for kids this past month, Georgia Southwestern State University's Division of Continuing Education will continue to offer tennis lessons with GSW Coach Brennon Sewell in July, August, September and October 2004. 

Three weeklong camps will be held in July. One-hour sessions will be held Monday through Friday each week with beginners at 9 a.m., intermediates at 10 a.m., and advanced at 11 a.m. Intermediates would include any of the 7-year and older children who have attended the June clinics or those with prior tennis experience. Advanced status is reserved for high school players. 

Sewell may move participants to match abilities once each camp begins. Cost per weekly camp is $45. The dates for these weekly camps are: July 12-16, July 19-23 and July 26-30. 

Continuing Education will also offer three month-long sessions in August, September and October with the following dates: Aug. 2-31, Sept. 2-30 (no class on Labor Day), and Oct. 1-29. Students will have the option of registering for four sessions per week on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday or three sessions per week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. All sessions will meet from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
