*URGENT ADVISORY*

GSW cancels classes for Thursday, Sept. 16 and Friday, Sept. 17

AMERICUS--Normal campus operations, including daytime and evening classes, will continue at Georgia Southwestern State University through today, Wednesday, Sept. 15. However, due to poor weather conditions, GSW offices will be closed and all classes are canceled for Thursday, Sept. 16. Classes missed Sept. 16 will be made up Saturday, Oct. 2. 

All classes are also canceled for Friday, Sept. 17. However, faculty and staff should report for work Friday, Sept. 17, if weather permits. 

All normal operations, including classes, are scheduled to resume Monday, Sept. 20. 

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to exercise their best judgment concerning their personal safety, travel, and the safety of others. Residence halls and Public Safety patrols are unaffected by these operational modifications.
