Princeton professor Jan Gross visits for GSW Convocation Oct. 13

AMERICUS--Jan Gross, Ph.D., will speak during the Georgia Southwestern State University Convocation at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 13, in the Jackson Performance Hall. 

Gross is a Princeton University professor and former professor of Politics and European Studies at New York University. He is GSW's learning community honoree and author of the book Neighbors: The Destruction of the Jewish Community in Jedwabne, Poland. 

The event is free and open to the public. 

Gross' presentation marks the third in a series of fall convocations designed to bring diverse speakers to the GSW campus.
