Volunteers pitch in to make GSW Pride Day a success

Dedicated--Nearly 110 faculty, staff and student volunteers beautified the Georgia Southwestern State University grounds Oct. 27. The group participated in Fall Semester 2004 Pride Day, planting 432 shrubs and trees, 2,088 bedding plants and laying 8,054 square feet of sod near the Fine Arts Building. Representatives from 47 clubs, departments and organizations, including a strong contingent of freshmen athletes, completed the work. Pride Day has been a GSW tradition for eight years.
