GSW's Agerton Observatory hosts special morning viewing Nov. 5

AMERICUS--Georgia Southwestern State University's Agerton Observatory will host a special Open House morning viewing Friday, Nov. 5. 

Members of the public are invited to the Observatory beginning at 5 a.m. to see the Moon, Saturn, Venus and Jupiter. If weather is poor, the event will be rescheduled for 5 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 6. 

The Agerton Observatory is the small dome located on the top of the Roney Building, off Perimeter Road, between the tennis courts and College Lake. Parking is available in the lot between the Roney and Business buildings. Access to the observatory is via an outside stairwell between the Roney and the Science buildings.
