GSW graduates 300

A day worth celebrating—Georgia Southwestern President Kendall Blanchard stands with Master of Education graduates Bethany Howard, left, and Priscilla Floyd of Americus prior to Fall 2007 Commencement Exercises Dec. 8. The event included 300 graduates and was held in Convocation Hall of the Student Success Center. This marks GSW’s largest graduating class since Fall 2002. Regent Hugh A. Carter, Jr. from the University System of Georgia delivered the keynote address. Carter is a native of Plains and is the cousin of Former President Jimmy Carter.
