Freshman share first year experiences through Web blogs

It is often said that the first impression is the most important.

Beginning Thursday, August 20, six freshman at Georgia Southwestern State University have agreed to share their first year experiences on the University's website through a series of blogs. From student life to study hall, these first year students will offer words of wisdom to prospective students and interesting anecdotes to whomever happens to visit the site.

Participating first year students are Tyler Gunnett of Loganville, Ivy O'Hern of Americus, Tkeshia Rice of Alpharetta, Ryan Garnto of Reidsville, Kaitlin Wilkinson of Fayetteville and Elizabeth Cupp of Roberta.
