Record number of students in campus housing        

 Lift with your legs…--Move-In Day 2008 was a busy one Sunday, August 10 as the residence halls at Georgia Southwestern welcomed a capacity and new record 804 students. This number is an improvement of more than 50 occupants from fall 2007 when Georgia Southwestern housed a then record 751 students. As the University aims for 10 percent enrollment growth this fall, a housing increase is quite welcome. In the photo above, Campus Safety Officer Eddie Wright, left, was kind enough to lend a hand as students moved their belongings into Southwestern Pines, GSW’s apartment-style residence hall.
