Former POW shares his experience
Retired Army Sgt. 1st Class Daniel J. Stamaris, Jr. was shot down during Operation Desert Storm in 1990 and held as a POW for eight days by the Iraqi Army. Stamaris was the featured speaker at GSW's fourth annual POW/MIA Convocation celebrating POW/MIA Recognition Day 2009.
