Americus Rotary Club supports GSW

Service to service – The Americus Rotary Club made a donation to the Georgia Southwestern Foundation Thursday, July 3. Outgoing Americus Rotary Club President John Kooti, Ph.D., right, is shown presenting a check to Boyce “Stick” Miller, Executive Director of the GSW Foundation.  The Rotary Club of Americus funds two scholarships for the benefit of Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) at GSW. The scholarships, which are named for J. Willis Shiver and E.H. Kinnebrew, Sr., honor the memory of these two lifelong Americus Rotarians, both of whom established successful businesses which continue to flourish in Americus to this day.  Miller thanked Kooti and the Americus Rotary Club for their continued support of academic programs at GSW.
