Sethna to speak at GSW Commencement May 9

AMERICUS—Georgia Southwestern State University (GSW) will hold its Spring 2008 Commencement ceremony at 11 a.m. Friday, May 9, in Convocation Hall in the GSW Student Success Center. An estimated 220 students are expected to graduate.

The community is invited to attend.

University of West Georgia President Beheruz N. Sethna, Ph.D., will be the commencement speaker. Elizabeth Kuipers, Ph.D., GSW associate professor of English, will deliver the reflection, and the greeting will be given by Regent Doreen Stiles Poitevint of the Second Congressional District.

A graduation breakfast is planned for 8:30 a.m. in the Marshall Student Center Dining Hall.
