Student Service Project
Wheatley Administration Building | 11:00 am
Our campus-wide service project includes a canned food drive with a friendly competition between our colleges/schools to see who can collect the most. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to bring canned food and help spell out G-S-W in front of Wheatley Administration. This event serves as the official kickoff for Presidential Investiture Week.

Windows to the World: Jaha's Promise Screening
Nursing Auditorium | 6:00 pm
The documentary film Jaha's Promise follows Jaha Dukureh's journey to end FGM (female genital mutilation) in Africa and across the world. Jaha is a GSW alumna and a 2018 Nobel Peace Prize nominee.

'Glow Canes' Golf Cart Parade
Storm Dome parking lot and circling campus | 8:00 pm
Come celebrate GSW with a glow-themed golf cart parade featuring carts decorated by student organizations, with multiple awards given to those with the most creative and most spirited carts.

Academic Showcase Tours
Around campus | 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Take a tour of GSW's beautiful campus and learn more about our academic programs and a few special projects we have going on. Tours will include GSW's glassblowing studio, the nursing simulation lab, multiple science exhibits and demonstrations, a night sky observation of Saturn & Mars, a poetry reading, and so much more. See tour schedule.
