Former Undergraduate Students
If you have attended Georgia Southwestern as an undergraduate student past the end of the Drop/Add period, then you are a former Georgia Southwestern State University student. If you wish to re-enroll in any undergraduate capacity (freshman, transfer, transient, or post-baccalaureate), you should complete the Undergraduate Re-Admission Application and work with the Registrar's Office.
Non-graduating students remain eligible to register for classes during the 2 semesters (includes Summer) following their last term of enrollment. Eligible students may be able to register for classes online and/or with their advisor without completing an Application for Re-Admission.
Graduate Students
If you have an undergraduate degree or previous coursework as an undergraduate student from Southwestern and want to begin graduate school, you should apply as a new graduate student.
Students previously enrolled in a graduate program who wish to return should complete a Change of Semester Form and work with the Office of Graduate Admissions. Students are also encouraged to contact the Academic Director of their graduate program to determine what additional information, if any, will be required to return to the program.
Non-graduating students remain eligible to register for classes during the 2 semesters (includes Summer) following their last term of enrollment. Eligible students may be able to register for classes online and/or with their advisor without completing a Change of Semester Form. Students participating in cohort or limited enrollment programs must contact the director of their graduate program before registering for classes.
