WHEN DOES THE TEAM MEET?

The team meets on the 3rd Tuesday of each month and as needed depending on the cases.

SHOULD I REPORT AN ISSUE IF I THINK SOMEONE ELSE HAS?

Someone else may have missed the signs you see.  You interact with individuals every day on campus and could notice a threat or change in behavior that others may have overlooked.  If an individual's behavior seems questionable, please don’t hesitate to report. We welcome your observations!

I’M WORRIED ABOUT SOMEONE I KNOW, BUT IT MAY NOT BE THAT SERIOUS. WHAT SHOULD I DO? I DON’T WANT TO GET HIM OR HER IN TROUBLE OR MAKE HIM OR HER MAD

It is always better to report than not report. SHBIRT takes every case seriously and would rather assist or intervene with an individual than miss an opportunity to save a life or lives.  Individuals will not be informed about who has reported them.
