Marylen Walker retires
MaryLen Walker is retiring after serving as assistant to the Executive Director of the GSW Foundation since March 1, 2007.
MaryLen stated that in her nine and a half years with the Foundation, she has met many interesting people with great stories of their time spent at GSW. She has enjoyed making new friends and getting reacquainted with former co-workers from her many years at the Tog Shop.
She will miss Katie, Reda and her other Alumni House co-wrokers and hopes Cathie Morris, her successor, will enjoy her time at the Foundation as much as she has. She jokingly stated that she decided to retire before everyone wished she would retire. Her first goal in retirement is to wake up without an alarm clock!
Please join us for a reception celebrating MaryLen on November 14 from 4 to 6 pm in the Newman Alumni House. RSVP to Cathie Morris at cathie.morris@gsw.edu.
