Donaldson to be inducted into Concord Athletics Hall of Fame
This October, GSW head men's golf coach Darcy Donaldson will be inducted into the Athletics Hall of Fame at his alma mater, Concord University, where he was a member of the golf team from 2003-07.
Donaldson was a three-time All-West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team selection at Concord, a NCAA Division II member located in Athens, W. Va. He was named the WVIAC Freshmen of the Year in 2004, the WVIAC Player of the Year in 2006 and earned PING Honorable Mention All-America recognition in 2006. Additionally, Donaldson helped the Mountain Lions to a 2006 NCAA Division II East Region Championship - the first regional championship for Concord in any sport - and a berth in the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament. Over his collegiate career, Donaldson picked up nine tournament wins, including five his junior year.

Bob Woodruff Foundation grant will continue to fund RCI’s military caregiver program
After one and a half years of successfully providing a critical support system to military caregivers in the state of Washington, Operation Family Caregiver (OFC) is pleased that the program will continue for the next year. The Bob Woodruff Foundation (BWF) has announced a new grant to the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregiving (RCI), which administers the unique military caregiver support program. BWF works to ensure injured veterans and their families are thriving long after they return home.
