GSW accepts donation for Griffin Bell Conference Center renovation

On April 10, GSW accepted a generous $300,000 donation for the planned renovation of the Griffin Bell Conference Center from the Sumter County Development Authority. The updated design will foster local entrepreneurs with a makerspace and will serve as a venue for social functions and conferences.

“One day I hope to be able to join something like this and really just foster some of the creative ideas I have. I want to do photography. I really enjoy graphic design, so just anything like that,” said GSW student Brandy Britt.
