Your annual gift provides flexible funding for student-centered activities, programs and assistance not normally covered by tuition.
What is annual giving and why is it important?

GSW Freshman Convocation in 2018
Annual giving is the ongoing support provided by our alumni, parents, students and friends each year. These contributions provide an immediate source of funding for the university, with the flexibility to allow us to support programs, research projects and hands-on learning experiences not normally covered by tuition. The extra income generated from annual gifts is needed continually to ensure that our facilities and curriculum are the best.
Can I choose where my gift is used?
Yes! Please look through these GSW Foundation funds and select your favorite(s). Annuals gifts may go to the general Southwestern Fund, or be designated to a specific area, program, or scholarship.
How do I make my gift?
There are a variety of ways to give to Georgia Southwestern. Securely give online by credit card or bank draft as either a one-time gift or a recurring monthly gift. You may also mail a check (payable to GSW Foundation) or give us a call at 229-931-2014. Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Every gift matters!
In addition to showing your belief in GSW’s mission, your gift has a direct and tangible impact on our students. Whether you give $10 a month or honor us with a much larger donation, your support enables us to continue doing the things that make Georgia Southwestern State University great.
What is a matching gift and how do I set it up?
Many employers match charitable contributions made by employees. Check the matching employer database here to find out if you or your spouse’s employer will match your gift.
