What I love about Georgia Southwestern: GSW is the perfect size. Small enough to allow for intimate, engaging classrooms and large enough to offer life changing opportunities to our students.

Something I wish everyone knew about GSW: I wish everyone knew what our mascot, Surge, represents. *Hint: STORM Surge* I have a close, personal friendship with him!

Fun Fact: I wear flip flops in the middle of winter.

Why I love Georgia Southwestern: GSW is a home away from home. There's a feeling of community and a family atmosphere. You're able to make friends, learn new things, and enjoy the experience.

Something I wish everyone knew about GSW: Georgia Southwestern is the place to be. In the Spring, the campus flourishes with beautiful flowers and greenery. It is a sight to behold.

Fun Fact: I was adopted when I was two days old. While at GSW, I got the opportunity to meet my birth mother for the first time. We've had a great relationship since.

What I love about Georgia Southwestern: What I love most about Georgia Southwestern is the strong sense of community. It’s a place where professors know your name, classmates become lifelong friends, and there’s a genuine support system to help you succeed—not just academically, but personally. The campus feels like home, and there’s a shared pride in being part of the Hurricane family.

Something I wish everyone knew about GSW: I wish more people knew how many opportunities GSW offers—whether it’s research projects, leadership roles, internships, or study abroad programs. Even though it’s a smaller university, the impact is big. You’re not just a number here; you’re truly seen, supported, and empowered to reach your goals.

Fun Fact: I am the only boy on both sides of my family.
