Now, more than ever before, health care workers are challenged to care for individuals, families, and communities in rapidly changing health care environments. As graduates of GSW's College of Nursing and Health Sciences, you will be prepared to assume professional roles in a variety of health care settings to assist in meeting the many challenging health care needs facing our society today.
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences has a strong tradition of excellence in educating professional nurses by offering numerous associate, baccalaureate, masters, and certificate programs designed to prepare graduates to practice in a dynamic and challenging field of healthcare. GSW nursing graduates consistently perform above the national average on the nursing licensure exams, and nurse practitioners and nursing educators have a high pass rate on the certification exams.
The College of Nursing and Health Sciences is an academic unit of Georgia Southwestern State University, serving a diverse population of students and offering undergraduate programs in nursing and health sciences, as well as graduate programs in nursing.
