Group Fitness Classes

Get Fit with Group Fitness Classes!

Group Fitness classes are held at various times throughout the week and may include activities such as yoga, boxing, barre, and more. Classes are designed for all fitness levels to meet the needs of all members. Certified Group Fitness Instructors will lead you through formats specific to the class and will offer modifications to support participants' needs. 

Please note, Boxing classes will be held in Florrie Chappell Gym. Vinyasa Yoga and all other classes will be held in the Group Fitness Studio. 

A valid GSW ID is required upon entry to class. Community members must show a governmental ID upon entry to class.

Group Fitness Equipment

Equipment, weights, mats, and other items used during group classes are provided for all participants. It is recommended that you bring your own towel and water bottle as these personal items are not provided. To help better control the spread of illness and disease, sanitizing spray and disposable towels are available to use, so please make sure to wipe off equipment after each use.

Group Fitness Studio Policies

Participants must follow Group Fitness Studio Policies. Any policy Violations may result in ejection from the facility.

  • Proper workout attire must be worn at all times. Plastic sweat suits are not permitted. Only non-marking athletic shoes are allowed unless noted otherwise by instructor.
  • Arrive with time to check in and get settled. Doors will be locked once class starts.
  • All personal items must be stored in the provided cubbies. Fitness staff is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  • Facility hand weights are provided for appropriate classes and may only be used as the director
    of the Group exercise instructs. Do not drop or throw exercise equipment. Group Fitness equipment is to remain in the Group Fitness Studio.
  • If you experience lightheadedness, dizziness, nausea or any other discomfort, please stop your
    workout and notify a staff member on duty.
