Living at Georgia Southwestern offers students a complete on-campus college experience. A variety of residence hall options, including suites and apartments, are available to fit the needs of all students. Our close-knit campus allows students to build a sense of community amongst peers while learning beyond the classroom walls. With no traditional-style halls or community bathrooms, students enjoy a more modern, comfortable living environment, ensuring an exceptional residential experience.
Living on campus offers students the complete GSW experience living away from home during college. Being part of the campus community allows students to dive into the college life, meet new people from all over the world, and become involved with various opportunities to promote growth and lifelong friendships.

Applying for Housing
Students applying for housing online must be accepted students. Upon acceptance, students will receive CanesNet credentials to log in to the housing application portal.
If you're wanting to choose your roommate(s), residents have the ability to create a Roommate Group in the Housing Application to request specific residents to share housing. By selecting "Roommate Group," one person can create a group and become the group leader. Once created, the Group Leader will need a group name and password. This information can then be shared with the individual(s) they wish to live with, and then selected in their respective application by selecting "Join Group" and inputting the group name and password. The group leader will need to accept requested roommate(s) in order to complete the process.
Please remember only groups of 2 and 4 will be permitted to live together.
After your tuition has been paid, you can pick up your parking permit at the Office of Public Safety.
Packing is always stressful. We have compiled a list of recommended items to make you feel more at home in your residence hall.
Residence Halls are also now offering free laundry services to on-campus students.
If a vacancy exists and your reason is legitimate, a room change may be granted. Start the process by talking to your RA.
