Post-Baccalaureate Student

Second Degree and Post-Baccalaureate students are individuals who have received a bachelor’s degree from another institution and want to enroll in additional undergraduate level courses. Second Degree students are degree seeking while Post-Baccalaureate students are not wanting to earn a second undergraduate degree, only take courses for earned credit.

  2. On page 3 of the application for "Application Type" they should select "Second Baccalaureate Degree."
  3. Then follow the same admission process as a transfer student.
    • Like Transfer Students, Second Degree Students must also send official transcripts from all previous institutions.

Second Degree Students are eligible for federal financial aid if they qualify.

Post-Baccalaureate Students - Non-Degree Seeking

To Apply:

  1. Students applying as a Post-Baccalaureate Student should complete the online application.
  2. On page 3 of the application for "Application Type" they should select "Second Baccalaureate Degree."
  3. When applying, email admissions@gsw.edu and indicate you plan to be a Post-Baccalaureate Student and do not wish to complete a degree.
  4. Then follow the same admission process as a transfer student with the following exceptions.
    • Unlike Transfer Students, Post-Baccalaureate Students must only send one official transcript that shows the completion of a Bachelor's degree.
