Program Details

With this certificate, students will be able to:

  • Appropriately and ethically gather information to create accurate and engaging news stories for print, online, and multimedia platforms.
  • Create ethical news stories considering factors such as cultural context, representation of sources, and impartiality.
  • Write news stories using the appropriate formatting, including correct AP Style, the inverted pyramid organization model, etc.
