Persuasion, Argument & Advocacy Certificate

Develop the skills to craft compelling messages and influence audiences with the Persuasion, Argument, and Advocacy Certificate at GSW. This program focuses on analyzing and creating persuasive content across a variety of media and contexts, giving students hands-on experience in argumentation, advocacy, and communication strategies. Special emphasis is placed on crafting evidence-based arguments that resonate with specific audiences and using rhetorical theories to critically analyze media messages.

Often completed as a standalone certificate or as a minor for Communication and Emerging Media, this program also complements majors like English and Pre-Law, preparing students for careers in:
