Sports, Leadership, and Communication

Lead, inspire, and communicate with confidence through Georgia Southwestern’s Sports, Leadership, and Communication Certificate. This program focuses on the intersection of communication, leadership, and sports, helping students develop the practical and professional skills needed to succeed in a variety of media, coaching, and leadership roles.

Students gain experience in sports writing, online media creation, and digital storytelling, while also exploring how communication and leadership shape sports and culture. Coursework prepares graduates to apply leadership principles to real-world challenges in athletics, media, and beyond.
