The Fifth GSW Annual Science day will take place on October 3, 2025. This event is organized by Dr. Nedialka Iordanova, Professor of Chemistry, with the participation of GSW students and faculty from the various programs and classes across campus. The event hosts more than 100 high school students from surrounding high schools. During Science Day, high school students will have hands-on experience with multiple science demonstrations in the Science and Roney Buildings on campus presented by more than 15 GSW STEM faculty and several STEM major students. In addition, students will be able to engage with our various reptiles, math and computer games and demonstrations, and different experiments including ping pong liquid nitrogen explosions at the Centennial plaza, and will enjoy liquid nitrogen ice cream. The event will conclude with lunch provided at the GSW student cafeteria and tours of the university.

Students should arrive at the Storm Dome to begin the day by 8:30am. After the program, any high school students that would like to tour the university can do so by request and depart after.
