Staff Excellence in Customer Service and Personal Interactions

The award for Staff Excellence in Customer Service and Personal Interactions recognizes staff for their contributions to the essential work of Georgia Southwestern State University at the highest level.

Successful recipients significantly contribute to the quality of customer service within their department and across the University. They support a productive and harmonious work environment internally and interdepartmentally. This person has an extraordinary ability to foster collaboration, cooperation, and communication among members of the campus community. At the time of nomination, individuals must have at least one year of service at GSW.

Examples may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Treats all others with the utmost respect
  • A positive role model and/or mentor for others
  • Takes initiative
  • Is positive and enthusiastic
  • A team player
  • Remains calm and helps others through stressful situations

Nominations will be reviewed by the Staff Senate.
