Join the Department of First-Year Experience and Student Success for a brunch menu full of your favorites! Payment of $11 per person is required at the door, but a reservation is not required. Students will be able to swipe for a meal. Parking will be located in the lots adjacent to the Marshall Student Center. Open to Students and Families.

Test your luck and join GSW staff and other families for Canes Bingo! All participants will have a chance to win. Students are welcome!

Tailgate | Between Soccer & Softball Fields
5:00 pm
Bring your tailgating supplies and lawn chairs! Participants are welcome to begin setting up as early as 10:00 am. Note that the road and the softball parking lot will be blocked off beginning at 3:00 pm, after which all tailgate supplies must be carried in. Open to the Public.
*Tailgate spots are first come, first serve! Reservations are required for students, faculty, or staff groups wishing to reserve university tables or chairs. Spots will be reserved for Alumni Affairs, Athletics, Student Affairs, Food Truck, Bookstore, portable bathrooms & President's Tent.
*The Dining Hall will be closed during dinner for Homecoming festivities.

Canes Chili Cook-Off | Alumni Tent next to Soccer Field

The GSW Alumni Association will sponsor its annual Canes Chili Cook-Off during the 2026 Homecoming festivities. Prizes awarded for Best Overall and People's Choice. To enter the contest, click on the link below and follow the prompts. Entries must be a minimum of 1 gallon each and must be delivered warm/hot to the alumni tent at the soccer fields at 4:30 pm (30 minutes prior to judging). Please be sure to provide an ingredient list for food allergens.
