Nicholas Smarr and Jody Smith Memorial Building dedicated

AMERICUS (April 27, 2017)--The home of Georgia Southwestern State University's Department of Public Safety officially received a new name in February when the University System of Georgia Board of Regents approved the "Nicholas Smarr and Jody Smith Memorial Building" moniker. 

Today, the University, the Smith and Smarr families and the community held a dedication ceremony and unveiled the new lettering on the building.
