Since 1934, the Sou'Wester has provided students the opportunity to share their skills in journalism by providing students with news, features and stories across campus.

The paper was published continuously (and as a physical paper) until the last few years. In its history, it has covered everything from campus news and student opinion to the World Wars and 9/11.
