Remote advisement, registration, & withdrawal information

While we are working through the end of Spring semester, we are also looking forward to Fall 2020. Remote advising is going on this week, and Registration is set for next week. Please review the information below to be sure you're on track to register for your Fall courses!

Advising

Academic advising will be provided remotely beginning March 23, 2020. Communicate directly with your academic advisor about scheduling an appointment that is safe and mutually agreeable. Advisors will also be contacting students directly.

Please allow adequate time (24 hours) to receive a response from your academic advisor. If you are unable to reach your academic advisor or schedule an appointment, please contact the dean of your college.

Registration

Priority registration for Fall 2020 will begin Monday, March 30, 2020. To prepare for advisement and registration, be sure to complete the Registration Checklist available at gsw.edu/registration. This includes checking for holds on your RAIN account, seeing which classes you need to register for in DegreeWorks, looking over class offerings, and checking your registration time.

Withdrawals

The deadline to withdraw from Spring 2020 classes without academic penalty has been extended to Friday, April 3, 2020 for full term courses. Withdrawal information and forms are available at gsw.edu/StudentForms.
